Trade Logistics & Strategies
will participate in the 2002 Maryland Bio Mission to Kanagawa, Japan February
3-7 in Kanagawa, Japan. TLS Receives State of Maryland Export MD grant
to further its representation of Maryland firms seeking to export.
TLS will be a participant
in the Maryland Bio Mission being held at the Yokohama Grand Inter-Continental
Hotel from February 3-7, 2002. The Mission is sponsored by the Office
of International Business of the Maryland Department of Business &
Economic Development, the Kanagawa, Japan Prefecture Government and the
Japan External Trade Relations Organization (JETRO).
The Mission will be attended
by Maryland officials, a representative of the National Institutes of
Health, representatives of the University of Maryland and representatives
of a number of Maryland based biotech companies. TLS will have the honor
of representing each of its Maryland based clients at the Mission. Presently,
it is expected that the Mission will attract the attendance of between
150 and 200 Japanese companies active in all aspects of Japan's biotech
industry. Given the level and quality of attendance and the excellent
organizational efforts made by each of the sponsors TLS is looking forward
to showcasing its Maryland based biotech clients at the show.

participation in the Mission is facilitated in part by a grant from the
State Of Maryland's Export MD program. It is an honor for TLS to receive
the State's award and a recognition of TLS' efforts to assist Maryland's
entrepreneurs to develop their international business.
